Our Impact

Quiet in Tight Conditions
With no off-street parking and extremely limited onsite storage, every material that entered the job came through the front door. Careful sequencing, early trade involvement and off-site prep helped reduce noise, congestion and disruption for both the build team and the neighbours.

Repurposed bedroom floor joists
The existing bedroom floor joists were carefully removed and refinished to form the structure of the outdoor porch roof.

Convict bricks
During construction, convict bricks that were likely laid between 1800's and early 1900's were found. Due to their significance, it was decided that they would be reintegrated into the masonry facade of the cottage.

Courtyard slab
Rather than completely demolishing the entire courtyard slab, Arc. carefully cut out the desired pattern in an attempt to retain as much material as possible.
