Our Process
Pre-Construction
We recommend engaging Arc. as early as possible in the process to work closely with the client, architect, consultants and contractors to accurately cost the build, develop a construction program and confirm construction methodology as the design develops. We find this is the best way to ensure the architectural intent and client ambitions are realised in a transparent manner, where everyone feels in control.
Our scope for early engagement changes project to project and ranges from consultant management, to assistance with construction detailing and can be tailored to the stage, timeline and existing consultant agreements .
Early Works
Early works set the tone for everything that follows. We approach demolition, excavation, and ground preparation with foresight and control. Coordinating early with clients, consultants, and contractors to reduce risk and resolve complexity upfront. From navigating tight access and heritage overlays to managing contaminated ground and material salvage, we plan with precision to avoid downstream issues. Through careful sequencing and collaborative decision-making, we lay the groundwork for a safe, efficient, and well-managed build.

We work across steel, timber, concrete, and prefabricated systems, managing structure with the same precision we bring to interiors. From complex geometries to off-form finishes, our team delivers structures that frame and support the architecture in every sense.

We excel in delivering precise, high-performance envelopes; cladding, windows, linings and junctions beautifully resolved and built to endure. From timber facades to complex material transitions, we manage detailing, tolerances and sequencing with care.

Interiors
We specialise in delivering high-detail interior works. Timber linings, custom joinery, and integrated finishes, all with tight tolerances and consistency across trades. Our in-house carpenters are supported by our workshop for offsite fabrication, ensuring control from prototype to installation.
