Architectural builders committed to responsible construction of timber-rich projects.

At Arc. process matters as much as outcome. We believe the best buildings come from well-sequenced, well-considered work, where each step builds on trust, communication, and clarity.

We stay close to the detail. From the first conversation to the final handover, we work with care, coordination, and a deep respect for both design intent and on-site realities. We don’t rush decisions or cut corners. We make time for the right questions, and we make space for better answers.

Our approach is collaborative. We partner early, communicate openly, and build strong working relationships with architects, consultants, trades, and clients. Everyone is part of the process, and every voice has value.

Technology is integrated where it sharpens quality, reduces waste, or helps us deliver more efficiently but never at the cost of craftsmanship.

We plan with foresight, build with discipline, and remain responsible. That’s what lets us build with care and deliver something that lasts, for our clients, our team, and the communities we’re part of.

Collaborative

We collaborate with architects to responsibly deliver timber-rich projects for clients who share our values.

Craftsmen

We believe in doing things well, crafting spaces that are considered, enduring, and beautifully resolved.

Our Process

Pre-Construction

1

We recommend engaging Arc. as early as possible in the process to work closely with the client, architect, consultants and contractors to accurately cost the build, develop a construction program and confirm construction methodology as the design develops. We find this is the best way to ensure the architectural intent and client ambitions are realised in a transparent manner, where everyone feels in control.

Our scope for early engagement changes project to project and ranges from consultant management, to assistance with construction detailing and can be tailored to the stage, timeline and existing consultant agreements .

Early Works

2

Early works set the tone for everything that follows. We approach demolition, excavation, and ground preparation with foresight and control. Coordinating early with clients, consultants, and contractors to reduce risk and resolve complexity upfront. From navigating tight access and heritage overlays to managing contaminated ground and material salvage, we plan with precision to avoid downstream issues. Through careful sequencing and collaborative decision-making, we lay the groundwork for a safe, efficient, and well-managed build.
